In its latest report titled 'India and Artificial Intelligence: Seizing the Development Opportunity', the World Bank said private investment in AI in India more than tripled to $4.1 billion in 2025 from $1.2 billion in 2024.

Four start-ups addressing AI-driven flight shopping, AI search optimisation, airline ancillaries, and airport boarding processes have been selected to compete in the World Aviation Festival’s annual Start-up Competition next week. The live final takes place on Tuesday 13 October at FIL Lisbon, where each company will pitch its solution to a panel of industry leaders and investors.
