Tinted Rose Poetry Book- Annishia Camilla Lunette

Kensington, London Sep 23, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - Annishia Camilla Lunette, a talented British poet, actor and model based in Notting Hill, London, talks about her upcoming second self-published poetry book, 'Tinted Rose.'

Tinted Rose brings the innocence and optimism of life through a tinted and somewhat ironic lens. A thought-provoking second collection from the self-published artist.

Diving into social and political concepts of life growing up in the UK from both Annishia's perspective and experience but also addressing broader cultural and social shifts and dynamics. Bringing certain topics like race, the economy, and the social system to the surface in a light, 'poetic' way.

The serious undertones as a 'Brit' and nation seem so difficult to announce in certain circles, and literature is the author's place to give her authentic voice.

Coming of Age Narratives

There is an undercurrent theme of 'Coming of age' from the author's personal memoirs and narration through her poems exploring some experimental and frank accounts of youth and popular culture.

With hope that her openness to others can seek some solace and relatability in navigating adulthood too. Standing on your own two feet, leaving home and entering your adult existence in the world is scarier than we first realize, and harrowing tales of struggle mixed with humor and rhyme.

Whilst every sinner has a future, every saint has a past. Annishia shares some of the more wilder and explorative parts of her life, celebrating hedonism in a tongue-in-cheek and storytelling stance. Reflecting on how her experiences have shaped her today.

Much like Annishia's first collection, 'Crying Diamonds,' there are a few hybrid language poems in French and also Spanish. As well as some more personal, heartfelt themes surrounding the topic of love (the best parts--falling in love and love at first sight).

Unique Voice Through Poetry

Annishia continues to push the boundaries of being a British 'Hybrid Creative artist,' showcasing different sides and being in more than one box. A strong trend amongst this generation of artists. Alongside poetry, Annishia is an actor and model; you can find more on her model and film projects on her website and Instagram.

Tinted Rose is available on Amazon Kindle worldwide now and on paperback from the 1st of February and paperback from the 3rd of October.
