At least 14 people, including women and children, were killed after a boat carrying around 15 to 20 passengers capsized in the Ganga river in Bihar’s Vaishali district on Tuesday. Five people were rescued, officials confirmed.The incident took place near Rampur Shyamchand village in the Raghopur Diara area, under the jurisdiction of Raghopur police station, when the passengers were reportedly travelling to a neighbouring village to attend a feast.Vaishali District Magistrate confirmed that 11 people had died, while five others were rescued.
