The 2026 Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) election results have triggered fresh political debate after the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) won three of the four central panel posts.ABVP’s Yash Dabas won the President’s post, while Riya Chhawdi secured Secretary and Lakshya Raj Singh won Joint Secretary. Independent candidate Deepanshu Shokeen won the Vice-President’s post. The result meant that Congress-backed NSUI did not secure any of the four central posts.
